 Yes, it sucks.
In T-bird, go to view/message body as/plain text
 That should fix it.

Many thanks, that fixed it fine, I don't know if it was a change to
the way the digest was sent out, or an update to Thunderbird that
caused it to appear as HTML, it is nice to be back to plain text.
Ben.

Update, I was too fast to say it was fine, now ALL my mail is plain
text, some things (like flyers from some companies) I want in HTML, it
is just this group that has suddenly become HTML that I want back as
plain text, is there any way of telling Google groups you only want
plain text?? I don't want to spend half my time changing views.
Ben.

Try FireFox 3.5 if you are running Tiger... I know Jaguar would be
2.0, for your web browser and just drop Thunderbird to the dock...
I do this with Safari and FireFox...

What has FF or Tiger or Jaguar or Thunderbird got to do with OP's
complaint?

Re: List view

2009-11-17 Thread Richard Gerome

I just said try another web browser this way they could rule it out being
the browser... Then it would be the computer an the settings... I use to have
this kind of trouble using Internet Explorer and that's when I found FireFox
corrected the prob... My daughter was having some trouble (like they are
having) with FireFox and now she uses SeaMonkey and her distorted stuff
stopped... She is using Windows ME and I heard SeaMonkey was designed for those
old OS's!!! It's very easy to download these other web browsers and try them,
then it is to spend all day trying to fix something that you have no idea
about!!!

I guess I read it wrong??? I remember a long time ago I had to stop using
Internet Explorer because my email was all screwed up and couldn't even open it
because the subject line was running into the name of the person who sent me
the email and this ended up being my web browser...
