Category: None Group: 2.0.0 beta 5 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Jan De Luyck (devilkin) Assigned to: Nathan Walp (faceprint) Summary: jabber messages received from kopete have extra empty lines Initial Comment: Hello, when receiving jabber messages from a friend who has recently switched over to Kopete (0.12.3), I see empty lines in Gaim. I'm using Gaim 2.0.0-beta5 from Debian Sid. Dump from gaim: ---- (11:47:50) jabber: Recv (ssl)(659): <message from='[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Kopete' to='[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Gaim' type='chat' id='ab05a'> <body>man man, ze kunnen zagen in "be.providers" over hun limieten :P</body> <html xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/xhtml-im'> <body xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'> <p style=''>man man, ze kunnen zagen in "be.providers" over hun limieten :P</p> </body> </html> ---- this shows up in Gaim as per the screenshot I've attached. I've found this KDE bugreport, but they seem to tell that it's a problem in libgaim. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121627 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Megan Schneider (ciran) Date: 2007-02-16 13:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=801517 Originator: NO Has duplicate 1650078, which also points out that it goes away if you aren't using rich text in kopete. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Date: 2007-01-08 16:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=325843 Originator: NO If you actually read the KDE bug report that you've linked to, you'll see that the problem is actually related to Qt behavior. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100235&aid=1630455&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
