Summary: jabber messages received from kopete have extra empty lines

Initial Comment:
Hello,

when receiving jabber messages from a friend who has recently switched over to
Kopete (0.12.3), I see empty lines in Gaim.

I'm using Gaim 2.0.0-beta5 from Debian Sid.

Dump from gaim:

----
(11:47:50) jabber: Recv (ssl)(659): <message from='[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Kopete'
to='[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Gaim' type='chat' id='ab05a'>
<body>man man, ze kunnen zagen in &quot;be.providers&quot; over hun limieten
:P</body>
<html xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/xhtml-im'>
<body xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'>
<p style=''>man man, ze kunnen zagen in &quot;be.providers&quot; over hun
limieten :P</p>
</body>
</html>
----

this shows up in Gaim as per the screenshot I've attached.

I've found this KDE bugreport, but they seem to tell that it's a problem in
libgaim.

Has duplicate 1650078, which also points out that it goes away if you
aren't using rich text in kopete.

If you actually read the KDE bug report that you've linked to, you'll see
that the problem is actually related to Qt behavior.
