Summary: Beta4,5 & 6 crash XP Pro Pk2 for some Yahoo Buddies

Initial Comment:
For certain Yahoo buddies Gaim 2.0 Betas 4,5 and 6 crash when loading buddies
lists.

Weirdness: Same Beta's work for XP Home Pack 2 same buddy.

If I remove the buddy (from my home PC XP Home) then I can restart Gaim2b6 at
work and all the other buddies load.

Attached is gaim.rpt (just the shut down failing I think). And a console log
of "gaim.exe -d".

Gaim2b2 works. Not sure about 3, and 4 and 5 definitly fail.

I think I've fixed this.

You can try replace your beta6 libgaim.dll with the one at this address to
test the fix:

There is a bug (which I haven't fully tracked down) where if the DNS
lookup fails, it'll crash.

A simple workaround is to create an entry in your hosts file (google for
where to find it) for msvrf.yahoo.com.
