Summary: Installer is a fuckup

Initial Comment:
I just downloaded GAIM 1.5 for windows. I ran the installer and it said 'Your
old version of GAIM will be deleted. Continue?'. I hit OK and it WIPED my
entire user\desktop\ folder! WTF!? No warning about WHAT it planning on
deleting was given at all.

My previous installation was quite clearly installed in program files\gaim\. I
would be irate as hell if System Restore hadn't actually fixed it back 100%.

I would highly suggest not forcing it to delete old installations, just
overwrite instead. Or AT LEAST have a confirmation dialog before it tries to
wipe files that have never been associated with GAIM.

Other than this near disasterous fuckup, I like GAIM. Keep up the otherwise
great work.
