Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: kaddar (kaddar) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Recent Global History to assist after unintended closes Initial Comment: When I unintentionally close gaim, either by mistake, by rebooting, by gaim crashing, or by system crashing, I find there is no way to see who sent to messages last without having known that the person was already sending you messages. So, if I have a minimized tabbed message and someone else sends me a message, and it goes to that tabbed message, then I do not know who sent me it. So, then, if my system crashes, I have no way of finding out who has recently messaged. My recommendation to fix this problem: (any of the following would solve my problem A) Log names of people whom you've had recent conversations with, say, in the last 24 hours, and at what times, and allow a simple way to access this list. B) Allow a way to order buddy list by who has messaged you last and also allow an option to turn off and on buddy list groups. Now I lose history each time conversation is closed.
