Not sure if this is a new design, but previously when GAIM tries to reconnect after disconnection, it'll use the same password used at logon (without using "Remember password" feature in account setting). But with 0.82.1, it seems to forget that password and requires key-in of the password. I use the Netscape mail client to read netscape mail, that often causes AIM to disconnect. (An apparent Netscape mail glitch.)
