I don't have speakers and don't always have my headphones on so I don't hear the sounds, but I use to rely on the flashing in the taskbar. Can you put that feature back. Also I have continuely had troubles connecting to yahoo. I have the yahoo messenger installed and it gets through no problems but I have to turn on the feature that it has for "Firewall no proxy" I don't know exactly what it does when I turn that feature on, but it allows me to connect to yahoo no problems, I can't find that feature in GAIM 1.5 or 2.0.
