Summary: Deny/authorize request dialog needs a block button.

Initial Comment:
Blocking people needs to be easier (and by "people" I
particularily mean abusers and persistent porn
vendors). Preferably it should be easier to block
someone than it is to send me a
please-let-me-add-you-to-my-contact-list-nag-request.

It would be neat if the dialog where you can Authorize
or Deny requests from other people to add my account to
their contact list also had a block button. Or if
that's too hard to do, then it would be sweet if you
could make it possible to mark the dialog text itself
so one could copy-paste the offending user name to the
block dialog.

I've seen LOTS of similar bug reports against this, and over
a long time span.

Does anyone know if anyone actually does any work on this?

Adding comment from #1464255 (xeeleeuniversum -
xeeleeuniversum):
Add a button in the ICQ/AIM authorization requester
window which blocks further authorization requests from
a user if this user trys to add me again and again and
again. For example as a prevention against stalker or
bot users.

I agree with the previous comments, and would also suggest a
button to display the user's account information. When
someone requests authorization I almost always check their
profile first, and it's not convenient to have to manually
copy their screen name into the Get User Info dialog
(especially for ICQ where it's a number and easier to make
mistakes). A button that does this automatically from the
authorization request prompt would be nice.

i agree. from my recollection gaim 1.5 let me add users to
my buddy list when they were requesting authorization. both
that and blocking would be quite useful
