Summary: Possible to miss messages on close.

Initial Comment:
If someone sends you a message right before you close
an IM window, you can miss their message.

It would be nice if there was a forced delay of one
second between when a user receives a message and when
a user can close the IM window.

Is order to prevent abuse from flooding, if a user
manually selects Close from the menu or if the user
tries closing the window twice within twice the delay
period, then the window should close anyway.

Is it more likely for this feature to be implemented if
I attach a patch?
