Initial Comment:
I may be an old fogey, but I am always annoyed by
people IM'ing me while I'm doing something else. They
see I'm "available" - but they don't see that I'm busy.
If I made a "I'm busy" away message, then I'd never
remember to turn it off - so that's no good either.

What would be great would be if GAIM could
differentiate between me using some *non-GAIM*
application (mouse movements, typing, etc), and the
workstation being "quiet". Then GAIM could say "I'm
busy" when I doing things, and "I'm available" when
I've been staring at my screen for 10 seconds :-)

Sprained idea or what? :-)

this is an interesting one. its basically the inverse of the
x idle stuff. I don't know how possible it is.
