Keep the log viewer as it is now but when you click on a date, it opens up the corresponding log file in whatever viewer you choose (or the built-in one if preferred). Maybe put it in a right-click menu when you right-click on the date. This would be useful in cases where the log file is really big, and the gtk viewer takes a long time to load, freezing all of gaim in the process.
