It shows different text when different things happen in the connection. e.g: "Waiting for buddy to accept connection" "Trying to connect to buddy" I know the direct connection in GAIM shows the status message in the IM window, but i dont think highly of them. I would like to see them in a separate window if possible. As far as file send goes, i love the file transfer window. Though, I would to see this pop up the second one tries to send a file and show the status (before it starts actually sending). Like "Connecting" "Connected, waiting for buddy to accept". I dont think its necessary to create a second thread to request this since its about the same thing: The only way to send a file or initiate a direct connection is by right clicking the user you wish to send/connect to and clicking "Send File"/"Direct IM". Is it possible to get these same menu options in the Options or Conversation menu of IM windows?
