Summary: Focus problem on Win32

Initial Comment:
I'm using the latest Gaim v1.0.0 with an updated GTK
on a Windows 2000 machine.

When using AOLs IM:

On the "Buddy List" window I click on a Buddy, and the
second window comes-up. There is no default focus to the
lower TextArea. Even if I place the curser there and
click, nothing.. No focus at all. The only way I've
found to get it to get focus is to hit the "Font Face"
button, hit "OK" on the
dialog and THEN it gets focus.

If a Buddy sends me a message, which opens the second
window, it gets focus fine.

This same thing was happening on the previous version
.8? I was using.

Everything else seems okay.

It would be great if you could fix this issue.

Thanks,

Joe Siebenmann

I'm using 1.00 w/ updated GTK on WinXP sp2 and, while there
is no cursor showing in the text entry section of an AOL IM, if
I start typing the text shows up there. But no cursor.

This may be the bug regarding the cursor not showing up,
which is a GTK bug. In that case, you can still type, but
you cannot see where the cursor is.

Please check whether this is the case.

This is a GTK+ bug not Gaim.
