I just downloaded ver 1.1.1 for Windows (I'm running on Win2K), and registered my ICQ account. I IM'd someone on my buddy list and ran into this bug, namely that no text position caret showed in the send text box control. The characters I typed showed up fine. I just noticed that I get a caret after typing some characters, however that was not happening before. It seems that there is never a caret in an empty send textbox (I expect one when I "activate" the control by clicking in it, so I know where the next thing I type will go). However once the IM window has been minimized and restored, it seems that a caret will appear once something is typed in the send textbox.
