Summary: Buddy icon on WinGain 1.1.4 (Pango assert)

Initial Comment:
When loading Gaim with no accounts registered, both
the 'connect' and the 'accounts' windows show. I've
selected the 'accounts' window and clicked to create a
new account.

When I selected the 'search' button for a buddy icon
(whether or not I put on my account information), when it
opens the 'search' window, it displays the following error
message:

Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape):
assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs > 0)
aborting...

When I click 'Ok', Gaim crashes.

This happens when opening AIM/ICQ accounts.

This is not a Gaim bug, but a bug in GTK+, the widget toolkit
used by Gaim. Your bug is being moved to our "gtk bugs" tracker,
where it will be grouped with similar bugs. When we know a gtk
bug number for this issue, your group number will reflect it.

GTK 2.6.2 doesn't work with Windows98/ME.
If you try GTK 2.6.4 from:
http://www.butfer.com/gtk/gtk-runtime-2.6.4-rev-a.exe does
the crash still happen?

"latest" isn't a version number. Get the gaim version
number from the "About" window and the GTK version number
from the wingaim options plugin.

Also, what version of windows are you using?

Both latest available for download.

Actually, that bug occurs every time I open a `browse` window
whatsoever, not only to search pictures, but for sounds too.
