NEED, Lucknow, India.
This is to share with you a very personal but urgent message
that my Father-in- Law Dr. R.P. Singh who has devoted his 35 years long
dedicated service among the indigenous people of tribal community in
Jharkhand State of India. He has been examined by country renouned
specialist & put on regular treatment for the last 10 months but there is no
progress at all. He is rather deteriorating very fast. Since Oct.
03, 2001 he has been kept on Oxygen round the clock. Here in India, Doctors
have almost given an understanding that he has to be kept always on Oxygen
as long as he is alive. He is very affectionate, loving, caring & above
all, a wonderful human being. I say it not because he happend to be
my Father-In-Law but entirely because of his humanity & human
resource touching services.
Keeping in mind the fast detoriating status of his
health, now everybody from his relatives, wel-wishers & contacts desire
to take him to USA either for transplantation of his lung or even curable
treatment. May I therefore, on behalf of myself, my family, NEED
family (i.e. Social Organization) & everybody from his friends beseech your
attention to kindly spare out sometime from your schedule and find out the
possibilities of his lung transplantation or curable treatment in details?
Here we shall await your reply anxiously anticipating to have
a fresh Oxygen of relief to a person like him.
Could you please also let us know the details about the
possibility of availability & the scheduling of INTRERON. It is not
available in India. Dr. singh is currently again hospitalized in a private
Nursing Home.
We trust
