Hi Andrey,

I'm not against a patch to add an argument in order not to call some
part of the script if that can help gentoo packaging Gajim.

[Gajim-devel] Proposal of autogen.sh edit to comply with gentoo policies for gajim-9999 ebuild

2016-03-11 Thread Andrey Utkin
Dear Gajim developers,
Please see
https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/1016#discussion_r55597783

Please help upstreaming of gajim live ebuild by complying with Gentoo
policies. In order to comply, autotools stuff should be possible to
call without using package's script which duplicates portage efforts.

So ideally we should split autogen.sh in two parts, making first part
of it launchable separately from second part. Or make autogen.sh take
some parameter to NOT call autotools stuff.

Thanks.
