Hi Shantanu, "updates" are a little bit special. They refer to a changeset of the tool that is not invasive. For example if the tool number did not change. If the change in will affect reproducibility it will get a new "installable revision number". That new revision is only installable with a new installation. Go to the toolshed select ncbi_blast_plus (new revision) hit install. Done.
