Hi all,
I have been trying to upload my data files from FTP to Galaxy. It worked
perfectly yesterday. But now it did not run when I upload. The status is
like Job is waiting to run. But I have waited for many hours.
Do you guys know what the problem is?
Thanks

Re: [galaxy-user] FTP upload problem

2013-06-12 Thread Jennifer Jackson

Hello Thanh,

The public main Galaxy server is busy today and jobs are known right now
to be queuing longer. The best strategy is to allow the jobs to stay
queued - they will run when a processing window opens up.

This wiki explains how jobs status can be interpreted for datasets in
the history panel:

http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Dataset_status_and_how_jobs_execute

Hopefully this helps,

Hi Faith,

There was an FTP issue on our side earlier today, but your processing
does not quite fit the usual symptoms. Please try to FTP again using a
client that will allow interrupted transfers to be resumed (FileZilla,
CyverDuck) see if that helps.

You might also want to check your general internet connection - there
are several speedtest type tools that can detect problems. Use google
to locate one or if you have a system administrator they should be able
to help.

Very sorry to hear that you are having problems but hopefully one of
