I like number 2 or perhaps Number 4 but if you don't know previously
that is a prawn it's hard to recognize.

Wy do not to design a logo based on the G character? Its very much easy to
recognize in little pictures (if google doesn't owns all Gs in the world...
of, course)   :)

IMHO, the G character is way too generic, and does not define gambas at
all. Moreover, it wouldn't fit in the Breeze theme (like they wouldn't
use a "J" for a Java file).

The challenge here is to make the shrimp look minimalistic enough to
fit in a flat, monochromatic-style, 16x16 px icon (while also making
it pixel-perfect so it doesn't look blurry).

and the only way i find is to use the head in filled mode. The wire
style is not really readable.

so the clamp of Gambette and his head for the bigger icons and the
head only for the mini one. To say the trust i'm not really like the
breeze theme icons style. They are all so hard to reconize. I prefer
really the oxygen old style in realistic.

I like this idea ! My favorite is the 4th one, but I think it would fit
the Breeze theme more if it was in a line-only style, like the first
(I think there is no Breeze mimetype icon that is actually full).

You should also look at their design guidelines on their wiki[0], it would
certainly help your icons to look more fitting to Breeze.

Note they also take pull requests ! We could definitely have an official
breeze mimetype icon in the next Plasma release. :)

There is something I don't understand: on the svn repository, the 
VERSION file located in the root source directory is "3.8.1", both for 
/branches/3.8 and /tags/3.8.1.

How could you get "3.8.90"?

Ha ok, the bug is that the IDE refreshes the version when loading the 
project... Maybe I should put that logic directly inside the compiler.

I tried to run with gdebi but without success.

Since I use KDE, I tried to run the .deb package with apper installer and
apper installer, do the job.

But I think this is not the solution. What if the other machine has Mate
desktop or XFCE ...???

Since revision #7288, the version is computed by the compiler if the "use 
'VERSION' file" is used.
So the version problem should be gone in the next version.

And I suggest not packaging the gbh3.gambas file. It's an internal development 
tool not necessarily stable yet.

Actually if you do play again when it is it seem to cue the next song 
and then proceeds to play it but i digress
the other thing is can i declare an event as i have done it that code  ?

dbus interface doen't accept hyphen and it causes fatal error.
please fix it.

FAILS on the Ubuntu 15.02  & Gambas 3.8 Software I have been using, and the

I have narrow'd it down to Ubuntu 15.04 or the install I have on my hard drive 
has something wrong.
 
I Still would like to try and get the Ubuntu Software Center to not say the 
Package is of bad quality though and so far all do (even though they still 
work)(EVEN THE GAMBAS DEMO PROGRAMS I HAVE TRIED).

I can reproduce this bit. Mouse functionality is lost until I press enter (or 
use some other program like web browser).
I personally never use mouse to select things from the autocompletion, so I'm 
not sure how long this has happened.

I installed it from PPA.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gambas-team/gambas3
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gambas3

Type in : 
+ Dim i as int -> the completion windows opens
+ click Integer with the mouse to finish

Now the mouse functionality is frozen
