The longest drive I've got with a 1 wood is 315 yards, though I believe you might be able to get even further with split second timing. Even for the holes that are under 300 yards though, the hole difficulty stil seems to be a factor, sinse I've often got the right distance but not got my ball

Consider the longest drive using a wood. Then consider the distance from the tee to the hole. If the distance you must hit the ball is greater than the longest possible drive, you cannot score a hole in 1 on that hole. Every hole is different. How well you play is determined by the club you
