Hi Jewel,
You should not need to attach Microsoft Anna to my games. My games by default
are set to use your computer's default sapi5 voice. So as long as Anna is
working and is set as your computer's default voice, it should be working. You
know unless you might have copied the games from
Hi Jacob.
Do you mind sharing your folder of stuff? I recently shared my collection
of Infocom games and related materials for the benefit of the community and
would be delighted to let you have them if you want.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Thanks, re: infocom, but, no worries - while don't play those types of games
too often, do have winfrotz, filfor etc. here, and also have like a DHTML
instance of an IF handling app, so getting them to work isn't an issue -
just don't get around to it often enough...smile

Hi Jacob.
Ah now, that's a pity, the classic Infocom games are something worth
playing, I hope you'll chance your arm and test your metal with these, I
still enjoy them even though I've played and completed many of them years
before.
All the best and send the link to the archive as soon as

When I got the new computer, I downloaded them from kitchensinc and reinstalled
them.
Having just one voice is a real drag.
I may scrap them and start from scratch.

Jewel,
ou got Anna with Windows 7. To get more voices that will work with Jim
Kitchen's games you could upgrade to Windows 8,
there are three new client (desktop) voices - Microsoft David (US male) and
Hazel (UK female) and Zira (US female) which sound more natural than
Microsoft Anna.
Michael asked if 7-128 Software is working on a seventh game in the
Inspector Cyndi series. The answer is yes, we are working on another
Inspector Cyndi game. It will probably ship sometime after the first of
the year.

There are also free voices you can get off the internet, just
google free sapi voices or something similar.

Hi.
I know I posted about this game recently (though I don't know if that male got
lost in the works), but now that I've gotten into the game, I'm just finding it
absolutely fascinating, indeed it's rather hard to put down! The developer is
great about access, and has fixed several issues
HI Lorenzo,
Very cool. I'll be looking forward to seeing this one.

I just looked this up, and it does look interesting. From what I've gathered,
it's something you have to play through the site. Am I correct in assuming that
you don't use a client or app to play this game?

well I have been playing the games with sapi frotz and most of them
work, standard z games can shift round some if they work or not most do though.
