[Audyssey] a good mud client to use

2012-11-29 Thread Darren Harris
Hi all, I've seriously managed to mess up vip mud. It's now unusable on my pc. Basically I tried to install a sound pack for star conquest and it simply won't work now. Using window eyes, what good mud clients are there out there that will work? --- Gamers mailing list __

Hi darren. It strikes me as very odd that you could've completely! broken vip mud, sinse all you would need to do to restore defaults is delete the star conquest folder, and maybe the start.set file as well if you did anything to the default settings that can't be restored from options.

when you uninstall VIP mud, do you also go and remove the folders from your program files, and also user settings? because if you do not do this, when you reinstall, it will simply have all the old data there. dallas On 29/11/2012, Darren Harris darren_g_har...@btinternet.com wrote: I've tried

Hi, That sounds good regarding the update. Though I can understand why they were used, I didn't care for the PC speaker sounds. To me, at least when playing Destination Mars, they just sounded too slow and even choppy from what I remember from playing the original DOS version. Hopefully that

Hi. Dalas is right. An uninstall probably wouldn't remove all the settings files. I'm not sure where it ckeeps them all besides the folder in program files, but it's probably worth having a look for them, and if worst comes to worst asking david greenwood (he's pretty good about tech

Well, other than the program files folder I can't actually find any other bits for vip mud anywhere. Perhaps the problem is not with vipmud, but with your window eyes scrips or something like that? If doing all those uninstalls and reinstalls didn't work, you probably do! need to talk to
