Do you have the latest installer? If you don't, that could be the problem... that should've been patched in the latest version of the game. The problem is a problem with the English version of windows vs the Japanese one, I think. Something to do with language problems. I have to mention too

Not too much in terms of tips for the game in general. Most of it is pretty self-explanatory. There are a lot of audio cues which you can take note of and use. I'd recommend going through the tutorial, which'll get you used to how things work. And with the particular fight, just use a lot of
