You can actually use mush client directly from the package of mush-z. Just don't import the alter_aeon plugin. I personally prefer doing it this way because it means that mushclient already has the paths for its plugins set up, and I can just import the ones I want to use.

I am not sure why your getting overflow errors with sapi and Vipmud, I've been using it that way myself and it's been fine, indeed Vipmud is my client of choice for everything bar alteraeon. Direct Nvda support is apparently planned for the next version, but I do wonder if the sapi issue your
