Elite Love it! Haven't played Elite Chess but have played another windows chess game with JFW and Mac Chess is much better / easier / more intuitive in my opinion... HTH HOpe y'all have had an awesome new year's celebration! I did Fireworks on the Queen Mary and still not sleeping yet!

Hi Phil, Actually, Mac OS Leopard is Apple's current operating system, but as far as I am aware Apple Chess is the only built in game for Mac currently. Accessible gaming on Mac's is still very much in its infancy yet. I know that Apple Chess, several web based games using the Safari web

Apple Chess is very very good. I haven't played Elite Chess, so can't make a direct comparison, but it is entirely accessible across the board, so to speak, and I've spent many happy hours playing it. You can examine the board as you would expect with arrows, and you can set the game up
