I have played through ti a number of times, and this has happened to me
as well. I believe, however, that if you get her telling her how
greatful she is, you actually did save her.

At the end of The Palace of Brass, when I save the girl (or I think I do, I
get the whole "Thank you very very very much!" business, it sounds as if I
