Hi,
just as a general advice, you can move balls from energy rings. In later
levels balls often are on rings at the start of the level, but they can't
stay there because it doesn't work out. Maybe that helps. And yes, Robo-E
can go on rings too.

For those of you who have an iDevice and who play Robo-E, I'm stuck on level 3.
There is an energy ring to the left and right of a ball, and walls directly
below all 3. How can I move the ball away from the wall? Thanks.

Once a ball is against a wall it can not be moved off it, but can be moved
along it.
So if a ball and energy ring are on the same wall, only that ball can go
in that energy ring
