Hi.
A mud client is passed the server ip and port of the game you want to
play. It then connects to that server and you play the text adventure
via the mud client.
As far as commands you enter them by typing them like most other text
adventures commands like look, jump, whatever.

I just finished listening to Sean Randall's fabulous demo of Godwars, and I
have a rather elementary question about mudding in general. I noticed that
he was using a lot of specific commands in order to perform specific
functions. Do these commands only apply to Godwars, or do they apply
