MEUM is just another lame kill everything you see mud. I'm waiting to find
a mud that doesn't have this tactic.

Indeed. Discworld isn't a stock mud either I don't think, well it's LP and
LP codebases are great depending on how far the administrators take it.
We need muds with a totally custom codebase, like Evryan. That mud is
acceptional.

Is anyone having this problem when they try to loggin to mume? You try to
log in with a character name and password and your told that no player
exists by that name. You then type new to loggin to recreate a char and the
system acts like every key press is also being followed by enter cause
