Hi Josh,
349 MPH is the fastest that I can get going before I get to the ramp. So then
with the rocket booster the most buses that I can jump is 40. But I do not
even get to the point in sixth gear that I would shift. Your Harley only has
six gears, so I am pretty sure that 40 buses is the
Hi Thomas,
Yeah, like you I shut down everything else while playing a game. I mean even
though Monopoly is not like Mach 1, Pong, Shades of Doom or other live action
games I am playing a game and that is what I am doing. Guess I'm not used to
so much multi-tasking like others are.

Hi Alex,
May I suggest, if you need to do something else during a game, use the save
game feature and come back to the game later.
My games do not like it if you use alt f4 to close the game. I did not know
how to solve that problem, so I trapped the alt key. Actually made it an egg.

Hi Jeremy,
Sorry is similar to Headache and Parcheesi isn't it? I played all of those
games as a kid and would very much like to make computer versions. Clue would
be another board game that I would like on the computer, but I haven't been
able to figure out a good way to review the board
You mean you acually got it? Where'd you get it? I didn't find it on

Hi,
Well, Sorry would be a pretty easy game to make. All you need is the
cards four sets of colored pons and the game board.

Hi Jim,
Yeah, not only that even on my new laptop I discovered most games
generally run more smoothly when screen readers, instant messengers, and
other applications are not running in the background. It really can be a
hastle when instant message popups pop up just when you were ready to
jump
Hi William,
Yes, that is one of the games under concideration for cross platform
conversion using Java. The more i look at what needs to be done it would
be actually more rational to convert the game to Java making the
changes, bug fixes, as I convert the code from C# to Java.
As it happens I
Hi Kuvvosh,
Well, one question I have about Mobile Speak is how well does it handle
Java applications. For example, how well does it do with Java dialog
boxes written using the swing API. There are some things like the
registration form that would need to be accessible to Mobile Speak.
As far

About what game do you talk?

Hi,
Will this be at all possible with USA raceway? I'd have fun playing it on
the pac mate if that's the case;it sounds like it could be fun, if the pac
mate would support it.

I use free download manager. I love the thing;it doesn't interfeer with

download finishes, but I get no window that appears- which means I can

Hi. Check out tech.aph.org/mm for utilities and a Python programming
language in the works for the Icon and Braille Plus, and for games that
currently do run on them. HTH.

Hi,
In the game of Sorry if you want to take one of your pons out of home
you need to draw a 1 or a 2 card.

Hi Claudio,
Well, my research into Java based audio games would apply to all of my
future games, but specificly at the moment my primary research is about
porting Mysteries Of The Aztecs to a Java platform so that it can be
operating system independant.
I do think however it would be very cool
Hi,
Well, at the moment my primary focus is still on PC games and Windows
games since that is still the largest section of users of accessible
games, and Java access issues and solutions on Mac, Windows, and Linux
for me is solvable.
For example, I recently discovered a new Window toolkit for
Hi,
It is possible. Raceway has the basic engine in place, and it isn't at
all impossible to port it to Java and then make it run on Mac, Linux,
and Windows operating systems.

Hi Corry and all,
I know some of you are excited about the potential of supporting smart
phones, but my feeling is this. First, it is imparative that USA Games
finishes our tests using the Java platform for games. Second, we need to
build a stable and working engine to base games on. Third,
Thomas, have you checked into JInput? I believe it supports
steering wheels etc as well as force feedback.
what features of raceway were you commenting on?…

Hi Corry,
Well, that would largely depend on exactly which Linux components were
installed on the Braille Plus. Just because the core os is Linux doesn't
make it necessarily compatible with Java apps. For example you would
need to have the X-Windows server and the Gnome desktop to run my games
Hi Cara,
Indeed I have. There is a link to JInput on the USA Games dev center

which takes you directly to the JInput home page.
Anyway, I am not as concerned over joysticks, force feedback wheels, etc
as losing Sapi 5 support on non-Windows platforms. There are a

Hi Shaun,
Ok? your message didn't make a lot of sense. The Symbion OS is the
primary operating system for smart phones, cellular devices, etc. I can
think of some brands like Nokia that uses Symbion almost exclusively in
