Hi all.
Subject line says it all.
I have followed the advice about tpatch, but for some reason
cosmoserve refuses to run.
Not a major problem, although I really wanted that to run.
However I now descover that windowbridge 2.56 does not like any tads
or agt games.
So the only real benefit from
Hi Chris,
Lonewolf is a World War II submarine game. It comes with 17 stock
missions, and because the game can be expanded there are many additional
missions that can be downloaded to expand it to at least 99 missions.
There is also a Lonewolf sound pack put out by me, USA Games, which
Hi Shaun,
In the future try and give your messages a better subject like AGT
Games, or something like that.
As for dos screen readers that is really a matter that is not on topic
for this list.
You can however try the Free Jaws for Dos shareware version or try and
get Vocal Eyes from GW Micro.

Introduction
Hello gamers,
As we near the month of May I felt it was time to give you all a sneak
preview in to what is happening with the various USA Games titles. Final
Conflict and Montezuma's Revenge have some important changes and
updates in the works.
Hi Shaun,
you mean that it's been developed by Vipgameszone too? Can you tell me
whether the contact e-mail address they have on their web page still works
then? I used to test Super Tenis for about a day (due to an unfortunate
accident preventing me from downloading any further betas) and I
Hi Shaun,
Have you tried running games like CosmoServe with the /B option to
force the game's output to go through the BIOS? Just add that to the
command in the batch file that comes with Cosmoserve and it should work. I
know that's what I had to do in order to play AGT games in DOS years
Hi Shaun,
No, you won't have to run it every time. From what I remember, you just
have to tell it to fix the files compile.exe and run.exe (or mcompile.exe
and mrun.exe for the Master's Edition), and that's it. It just patches
those files to fix the Runtime issues.
Hope this helps.

After Nicol's comments about Showdown this morning and the discussion on
Super Tennis, I just wondered whether is it possible to also have a system
in SD where you could choose to hit the ball iether to the left, along the
middle, or to the right? Some people might like the guessing work of
if it is reasonably priced, I will be purchasing it. I think I have like
around 20 different boards for monopoly game. But when it does come out, and
I purchase it, I will get someone to read me the information on the board
and type it down and let everyone know about them.

Since they'll be redesigning the board, be great to be able to edit the
chance and Community chess cards to reflect the newer edition. I'm not sure
of Jim's programming but I doubt it would be impossible to accomplish. Also
could be a neat update for the other various tables in the game.

Hi Brothers,
I would consider doing a Windows's Monopoly game if it had multi player on
line ability.
So far the game engines I have access to do not.
If someone releases an accessible game engine with multi player capability I
would jump on it.

IP address might be helpful for those like me who haven't raced on your
server before. and, umm, you're only racing the netherlands track? I
probably won't show up then. I like a server that races more than just the
same track over and over. ugh.

Hmmm... Why couldn't Phil's Monopoly game be converted to Windows? I
realise Phil himself might not be able to do it, but I am sure there are
others out there which could do the job for PCS Games.

Hi Richard,
For Montezuma's Revenge beta testers will be pooled from those who want
to test and have already pre-ordered the game.
However, like with STFC there will be a limitted demo for the general
public to tinker with, but not the full game.
The general public will get the first two levels
Hi, Phil.
Yeah, I have also thought it would be cool having some board games with
online play ability as well as against the computer. With me it I have
the skills, but not the time to do it at this time.
I like Jim's Monopoly well enough, but man it is nothing compared to a
skilled human
Two words, that sucks! I am also a big Monopoly fan and was looking in
to the possability of voting. Perhaps we should band together and let
Hazbro know what we think of their sucky accessibility.
One suggestion look at their contact links for the web master, and let
him or her know you want
Hi Shaun,
No, that switch only works with AGT games. I always thought that the
switch would work with Cosmoserve's version of the interpreter. I can't
remember if there's a way of forcing TADS games to use the BIOS, but I know
I used to play lots of those games when I was still using DOS.
then I think its back to searching for a dos system.

Also I don't think samual is right.
Last week I think there was a published article that said audiogames
was becomming a seperate catogry for all who liked the challange of
audio and that it would not stop at the blind level.
The audiogames industry at its present form may vary well be at its
how hard would it be to write that type of game engine to do what you are
wanting to do? I am not trying to push you into this, but I'm just curious.

Hi Thom,
Speak for yourself. I have played Jim Kitchen's life and monopoly and have
yet to win a game. I will have to conquer that before trying an online game.
Although online gaming is very appealing.

Hi Richard
I'd like to say firstly thanks for the below info about the half-hearted
survey.
I've checked it out and think it's eventually going to prove to be
invalid.
Firstly, had you not brought it to the lists attention how many folks
would have ever read over it? I know we aren't
