Re: [Audyssey] superdogs bone hunt

2006-11-06 Thread Phil Vlasak
Hi Folks,
As soon as I finish the Sarah game and post it only for the beta testers, I
will attempt to put back the other games such as Super Dog's Bone Hunt.
Once Sarah is through beta testing I will make the link available to the
public for download and you can try the demo level for free.
Sincerely,
Phil

 just
tried it myself just for the heck of it. SBH isn't a game I'm al that
interested in and neither is Sarah for that matter. I was curious is all,
and you still can't download the game.

[Audyssey] Somethin bout discussion forums

2006-11-06 Thread Brandon Cole
Hi there,
I know my site was the talk of the list for a short time, and because of that I
would like to bring up the fact that I have added nearly a zillion new forums
to my boards very recently. My boards have basically been dead for a long time,
so I ask, no, beg you all to head on over there and post if you've got
something cool to say. There's a forum to discuss commercial console and PC
gaming, there's a forum for writing weird random stuff, and there's a newly
added forum called Never-ending stories for those authors among you. So I beg
of you, post. Please? Please please?
Sincerely,
Brandon

Re: [Audyssey] MUD's and MUD clients

2006-11-06 Thread Orin
okay, people should start using Mushclient found at www.mushclient.com

Also, there's a mushclient jaws plugin found at http://tspivey8.freeshell.org

I don't know what the direct link is for that, but he's got it linked
somewhere. One person on this list got an error, I have no idea why
but make sure you have the latest beta just in case. It's better than
Monkey Term or GMud because it's more supported, and all I have to
do, since I have it set up right, is just add a mud and the plugin is
automatticly added to that world so no extra steps besides connecting.

you can install it globally; globally meaning any mud you connect to
it loads, by:

1. going to file|global preffrances
2. go to the plugins tab and press the brows button.
3. locate the jfw.xml file that you downloaded, asooming he has a
page linked on his home page for the plugin. If I remember correctly
he does, he being a friend of mine.

Once you locate the file, press enter on it and there'll be a list
view if you shift tab once or twice with the file name and the path.
Press okay, connect to a mud and you should be all set.

If the page listed above doesn't have the plugin, email me offlist
and i'll gladly send it to you.

Regards.

I've played wormhole before, and it's nice, so yeah, it's quite
accessible already, accept, like all muds, the maps. It's nice to see
that an admin of this mud actually cares though cause well, not many

[Audyssey] comparing: A cool music band management game popomundo, and hattrick

2006-11-06 Thread Orin
Hey all;

Just to let everyone know, I found this cool game, popomundo from
www.popomundo.com

If you like Hattrick, it kind of has the same stuff VIP, etc, but
it's bands, and it's cool because unlike project rockstar if anyone's
played that before, you don't just create a band. You have two
options. One, create a band. Be the actual band leader. Or, have your
friends sign up and join a band that they create. Either way, your
band needs members, and the members are actual players because in
this game you have a char and yay, the best one, it doesn't reset so
all that hard work isn't lost at the end of the month.

In fact, the creaters of this game, apparently to people on wikipedia
are the same as Hattrick, and the summories of shows, concerts etc
are, well, not all that detailed, but they put different messages in
there so it's not just numbers, as the matches are detailed in
hattrick. The reports that is.

I've only seen one show, so I don't know. Perhaps they get even more
detailed as you progress through and get more fame.

So I like these two games both Hattrick and popomundo. Yeah I'm doing
a bit of comparing here between the two games, the forum layout is
the same, links are similar and the design of the popomundo website
is easier to navigate than hattricks.

So I play a char named Anthany Woodcock so if you search for me,
cool. i'm in a band called Bandage as well, so you can look us both
up. I say both because there's only two of us. So, if anyone wants to
join, we have slots open, though I won't get into much detail here,
just because I don't really wanna make this into a guide.

See you in the Popo world!

Orin

[Audyssey] wormhole mud and wiki

2006-11-06 Thread Orin
Hey Adam,

Just to let you know, I've played your mud before and reciently
stopped, but it wasn't because of accessibility, it just wasn't my
taste. i do love sci-fi, but I mean, I'd just love it if there were a
space system, maybe ownable planets; and things. But in terms of
accessibility, it's pretty good. In fact, I might start playing
again--at least it's sci-fi.

Again thanks for caring about accessibility.
