Re: [Audyssey] homer on a harly question

2008-02-28 Thread Jim Kitchen
Hi Tyler,

100 miles an hour is only going to jump 8 buses. Even with the rocket booster
that would only be 15 buses. I have jumped 37 buses. 40 in practice mode.
Like I told Josh, you have to get to the far left side of the track to be able
to make the second turn. We always had to do that in many of the tracks of
Mach 1 as well. Your vehicle will slide or fade in a turn when you are going
at such high rates of speed. So you want to get to the inside of a turn so
that you have room to fade in the turn.

Re: [Audyssey] homer on a harly question

2008-02-28 Thread Jim Kitchen
Hi Josh,

Without using the rocket booster, I can jump 349 feet. So that is I am getting
up to 349 miles an hour. What you have to do so that you don't crash into the
garde rail at that kind of speed is to get as far left as you can before you
get to the second turn. And press and hold the left arrow key as quick as you
can when you hear Lisa say Hang in there Dad You know because that is the
start of the second turn.

BTW When I get up to 349 MPH and then hit the rocket booster I am jumping 424
feet. That would make a good jump for 40 buses. I have not yet made it to 40
buses though. My record is like 37 buses.

2008-02-28 Thread josh
Hi,

I went into practice mode and chose to jump 42 busses with a speed of 430 or
440 some mph. I can't get up to that speed no matter how hard i try. Is
there any way to get that fast? It's almost like there should be another
gear there but there isn't.

[Audyssey] Stargate online game

Hi,

just in case you haven't heard about it, there is a new stargate M M O RPG game
that just came out this month. It is a turnbased online game with 4 classes of
characters. It is free but there does seem to be something about paying for
some things. Kind of like sryth. For more info you can go to

http://www.stargatewars.com/

I don't know how accessible it is. I plan on joining in the future, but not
now. If anyone tries the game , please report back what you find out.

Happy gaming.

you have not opened the right file.
the file is located in the c drive program files, coman files folder.
its in microsoft shared in the speech folder.
oh if you run it you won't know if it runs or not because there is no

open sapi.cpl then hit ok.

you need to find a file called sapisvr.exe
then run it.
This error is a result probably because the rec engine and sapi4 have

then something was not run or something.
find and run sapisvr.exe
then it should all work.

Good luck, in case you hadn't looked, it's got the imbedded images on
the log in page. I'm surprised you never saw it? Unless I'm missing
something here, we won't be able to play it.

 Hi,

just in case you haven't heard about it, there is a new stargate M M O
RPG game that just came out this month. It is a turnbased online game
with 4 classes of characters. It is free but there does seem to be
something about paying for some things. Kind of like sryth. For more
 info you can go to

 http://www.stargatewars.com/

I don't know how accessible it is. I plan on joining in the future, but
not now. If anyone tries the game , please report back what you find
 out.

 Happy gaming.

Re: [Audyssey] USA game web site?

2008-02-28 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Kuvvosh,
I'm not going to say that is impossible, but the initial version if I
use Java 2 SE would be mainly designed for PC and Mac platforms. I'd
have to convert the Java code from J2SE to J2ME to support smart phones,
PDA's, and other devices that use the Java Mobile Eddition. While that
isn't a super dificult task I'd have to know it would be worth my time
and money to convert the game to support phones.

Kuvvosh wrote:
Oh wow, Java format? Would that mean it would be able to run on my New
Smart phone then? That would be great. . .

Re: [Audyssey] bug with jim kitchens monopoly

2008-02-28 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Alex,
Yes, I have seen that issue with some of Jim's games. Not exactly sure
what is up with that, but when playing his games it is best to play them
when you aren't going to be alt+tabbing through a bunch of apps.

 Hi list.
Ok i'm running the latest version of jim kitchens monoppoly, and i've found
what i think is a bug.
Whenever i alt tab away from it to switch to another window, like msn for
example to talk to someone, the game crashes.
the error i get is as follows
 monopoly
 Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': Automation error
 Unspecified error
does anyone else have this problem?
