Hi,
Hmmm... Interesting. Perhaps I'll check them out someday with Orca.
Anyway, as far as using them with games I've pretty much decided to use
wav files for future games. I have Acapela Heather now, and I've created
several wav files already for Mysteries of the Ancients. Suprisingly she
Hi Kelby,
Since several accessible games use Cepstral, ESpeak, and other Sapi 5
compatible speech engines I don't think that this is off topic for the
list. As long as something has some justifiable connection to accessible
gaming it is usually on topic here. Smile.

Hi,
The Cepstral product licenses are not machine specific, but they are OS
specific. If you order a Linux version of the voice the product key you
get will only work on Linux versions of that voice. Same goes for
Windows and Mac version. That sort of sucks as it would be kind of nice

Hi Ken,
This could just be me, but I'm not finding the sound pack on the
braillesoft web site. I do love the idea of a sound pack for Nethack, not
least because I find the Windows version a little difficult to play without
a Braille display, due to Window-Eye's poor handling of cursor

However that may not last to
