Hi,

I just connected and didn't get hit by any zombie. I am standing at 225 by 
40. Plus, remember that a zombie inside the safe zone cannot move. So if you 
hear it. don't go near it since you can not attack inside the safe zone.

You leave it alone, and it will leave you alone.

I unpacked it, and it seems to use the same libraries to run as Swamp
does, and Swamp works fine.

when I logged into the server.  It's down for work, presumably on the server

[Audyssey] Swamp Sniper Sound

Hi, Kai and others. I want to know what you all think of something.

In the new version of Swamp, the sniper rifle's sound seems to be the
same as the hunting rifle's sound was. I don't intend rudeness or
disparagemen by any means, but I wonder why a sound that seems less
widely reguarded as that of a sniper rifle would be used here. In most
games, the sound most closely corresponded to the sound that the rifle
already had. It was loud and jarring, but that is the way of such
rifles.

The sound now used for the sniper rifle is a stock sound, usually used
to represent whatever gun is called for at the time by those in the
industry that require a sound. I've heard it applied to pistols,
shotguns, and rifles.

I know that I could replace the sound, and if it bothers me during
game play, I might do that, but I hesitate to do so, as I would prefer
to have the same soundscape as everyone else. It unifies our
environmental experience.

I hope to learn the thoughts of Jeremy, Kai, and other players in this
matter, as I may be a minority voice with little enough experience.

I hope this message does not seem to critical or insensitive to the
great amount of good work that has been put into the sounds for Swamp.
