Re: [Audyssey] any cheets for the game blood shed?

2015-09-08 Thread Charles Rivard
What's the fun of always winning by cheating? If I were to enter an online
chess tournament and used a computer to win every game against people,
claiming that I was winning the games, would that be fun? Not only would it
be dishonest, but my game would not improve. If you cheat at games, you
won't be a good gamer. If you have to cheat to win, you have been defeated
by the game.

[Audyssey] OT health, nutrition, and fitness

2015-09-08 Thread lcivic
Hi folks

Sorry for ot but I wanted to offer you my help about health, nutrition, and
fitness so, keep reading if you're intrested in this stuff. This is completely
of topic and I'd kindly ask everybody who wants to replay on this e-mail to
write to either my private mail address or skype which are provided below.

My name is Laid Civic and I'm 25. I work as physical therapist and studying the
computer science.
Beside my regular job, I also work as a nutrition and fitness trainer for last
4 years.
I started training when I was 6. At first, it was karate and taekwondo. After
some time I involved in brazilian jujitsu and ninjutsu where I was few years.
Then as my final decision I started training kung fu wing chun and I'm still
training it. Through that time, I learnt much about many different training
methods.
However, when I was 18, I decided to devote most of my time to overall fitness
and health, nutrition, mental training, and alternative medicines and healing
methods.
Today, I have many clients and most of them are sighted people but also
there're some blind guys among them.
>From my expirience in martial arts, and from time I spent with these blind
>guys teaching them, I learnt much about leeding and training blind guys and
>that's why I decided to offer you my help about that.
I can really teach you what's best food to eat, how to train properly either
you are in some sport or you just want to be strong, good-looking and healthy,
how to set proper mindset for anything you do in your life not just for
training and much more.
Of course, it's better and it will be easier if you've already had some
expirience in training, but if you are total beginner in training, there are
some possible solution which could help you.
Anyway, I'll explain any exercise in details just to ensure you don't hurt
yourself.

So anybody intrested in this stuff can contact me via e-mail address at:

luckyci...@gmail.com

or you can add me to skype where my ID is:

luckybandit1

and we'll discuss anything you want to talk about.
I'm sure I can help you as I did for many male and female guys and I'll do it
for very resonable price.
So once more, for any question you have just write me about it on e-mail or add
me to skype whatever is more confortable for you and I'll do my best to help
you.

P.S. I'm working on web site which will be devoted to health, nutrition, and
fitness so, when I've got it done, I'll share it here.

Best regards

To others though, being ridiculously overpowered is just a good way to spend
a few minutes of free time.
This was never a question about personal opinions, its simply a yes or no
answer, which happens to be no in this particular situation.
Just because you don't personally believe in the use of cheat codes doesn't
mean that others don't have the right to find them enjoyable.

Hello Dark

I appreciate your respond and your thoughts and I agree with you in some
point.
As I said, I just wanted to offer my help since I'm blind guy and know that
there are many obsticles for many of us in the sport and such things.
Didn't want to make a milions on blind population or such thing but anyway,
I apologize once more for this, I actually didn't know that of topic mails
are not common here.

Best wishes

Hello and welcome to the list.

I appreciate the advice and the information, however firstly I don't
really think this list is the place for it, this is a list about games and
don't use offtopic posting.
Also with respect, I don't think advertising your "reasonable prices" is a
good idea on a mailing list anyway, indeed I personally would hesitate
accepting health or martial arts advice (and especially from someone who
is not physically present and cannot see me personally), plus to be
brutally honest you say! you have these training methods and
qualifications, but I'd very much personally hesitate to accept any sort
of personal therapy or training without knowing how qualified the person
involved was, sinse both personal and especially mental therapy can go
very, very wrong if missapplied. This isn't to say I doubt your story,
just that even if I were! seaking such a thing over the internet, I'd want
to be dam sure of the credentials of who was giving it..

I would suggest you possibly look into publication, or contact one of the
societys for the blind in your area and advertise with them, or setup a
website offering information as you said. Either way personally offering
e-mail tips, especiallyon a mailing list which is utterly unrelated to the
subjects of therapy or physical training is not a good idea.

All the best,

Dark.

different training methods.
However, when I was 18, I decided to devote most of my time to overall
fitness and health, nutrition, mental training, and alternative medicines
and healing methods.
Today, I have many clients and most of them are sighted people but also
there're some blind guys among them.
From my expirience in martial arts, and from time I spent with these
blind guys teaching them, I learnt much about leeding and training blind
guys and that's why I decided to offer you my help about that.
I can really teach you what's best food to eat, how to train properly
either you are in some sport or you just want to be strong, good-looking
and healthy, how to set proper mindset for anything you do in your life
not just for training and much more.
Of course, it's better and it will be easier if you've already had some
expirience in training, but if you are total beginner in training, there
are some possible solution which could help you.
Anyway, I'll explain any exercise in details just to ensure you don't
hurt yourself.

So anybody intrested in this stuff can contact me via e-mail address at:

I'm sure I can help you as I did for many male and female guys and I'll
do it for very resonable price.
So once more, for any question you have just write me about it on e-mail

P.S. I'm working on web site which will be devoted to health, nutrition,

I'm sorry. When did this become a list for posting commercial

Re: [Audyssey] OT health, nutrition, and fitness

2015-09-08 Thread dark

Hello and welcome to the list.

I appreciate the advice and the information, however firstly I don't really
think this list is the place for it, this is a list about games and don't
use offtopic posting.
Also with respect, I don't think advertising your "reasonable prices" is a
good idea on a mailing list anyway, indeed I personally would hesitate
accepting health or martial arts advice (and especially from someone who is
not physically present and cannot see me personally), plus to be brutally
honest you say! you have these training methods and qualifications, but I'd
very much personally hesitate to accept any sort of personal therapy or
training without knowing how qualified the person involved was, sinse both
personal and especially mental therapy can go very, very wrong if
missapplied. This isn't to say I doubt your story, just that even if I were!
seaking such a thing over the internet, I'd want to be dam sure of the
credentials of who was giving it..

Dark.

Hey this is corey wondering when you should use the pressure mines in
bloodshed? and how do you avoid killing yourself with the mines. Should you
go to one side till you can't move than fire than go to the other side or
what?

NOt onlyy that but not everbody wants cheats so they can beat the ame
easily. Some, myself included, would want to find them just to see what they
can do and, in a few moments of ree time, just have a little fun doing
things you couldn't normally do.

2015-09-08 Thread Desiree Oudinot
This is definitely a sweeping generalization. On the rare occasions when
I use cheat codes, I do it to experience playing in a different way.
Sometimes it's fun to feel invincible. It does cheapen the experience,
but so what? As long as you don't do it all the time, to me it's just
another way of getting from point A to point B, as it were.

I would also not cheat in order to get a place on online scoreboards, or
to beat real opponents, whether that's in person or over the internet.
That, to me, is wrong, because it makes all the hard work and effort of
those who tried to win by genuine means null and void. But I see
absolutely no harm in using cheats for games like Battle Zone and Q9, or
other single-player games, every once in awhile.

Re: [Audyssey] any cheets for the game blood shed?

2015-09-08 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Desiree ,

I think that was well said. I by no means use cheats very often, and
when I do it is usually just to play the game in a different way. More
in cases of when I am angry or just want to vent steam by going
through hoards of enemies and mowing them down like weeds. I don't
cheat for cheating sake so much as I just want to experience playing
the game once and a while with invincibility enabled or be able to do
something else not possible during a normal game.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] any cheets for the game blood shed?

2015-09-08 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Charles,

Maybe so, but there is more to cheating than just completing or
winning a game. I do not usually use cheat codes when they are
available, but when I do it is usually because I have already
completed a game and want to play the game differently. Think of it as
a way to unlock new and interesting content.

For example, take the game Shades of Doom. There are many cheat codes
available such as the ability to walk through walls, fast walking,
invincible armor, unlimited ammo, and other nifty cheats. While that
is indeed cheating winning the game isn't usually the point for me
when I'm using those cheats. I merely want the experience and
enjoyment of walking around the lab killing various monsters without
them being able to harm my character. I'm just blowing off steam,
going on a rampage, and winning the game is secondary to just
splattering all the enemies on mass.

Another case in point is a Star Wars game from the early 90's called
Dark Forces. I use to play that game all the time, I actually beat it
many times without cheats, so eventually I began using various cheat
codes for the game. What made using cheats in that game so appealing
was the funny things I could do. I could walk into a guard room, all
the storm troopers would open fire, and the blaster bolts would just
bounce off my character. I could then whip out a thermal detonator and
blow up the entire room and not get damaged. Meanwhile all the poor
storm troopers are laying dead everywhere. That kind of cheating is
called god moding because it gives a player godlike powers, and it is
simply a different way to experience the game than is usual.

Cheers!

Hi Charles,

If you have never experienced playing certain games with cheat codes
then you will probably never understand the appeal of why people use
cheats.

As I attempted to get across in a prior post for many it is not about
competition, winning, or even playing the game per se. It is about
exploring, perhaps being able to do things not ordinarily allowed by
the game, and some people just get off in killing enemies for fun.

For instance, take a simple unlimited ammo cheat. In most games you
have a limited amount of ammo so can't just walk into a room and spray
everyone and everything recklessly. You have to conserve ammo so have
to take careful aim at what you are trying to kill or destroy. With an
endless ammo cheat someone can walk into a room with many enemy
targets and just hose everyone and everything down with fire and have
fun shooting everything in sight just because they can.

Now, if you are a person who doesn't like blowing lots of stuff up,
killing unlimited numbers of enemy targets, or just taking out your
built up emotions on a game then chances are you won't see the appeal
of cheat codes. Since a lot of them are there for people who want to
blow things up, shoot everything in sight, and do crazy stuff then you
can't understand the attraction of cheat codes.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] any cheets for the game blood shed?

2015-09-08 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Charles,

It seems to me you have missed the point. The point is not always to
win so to speak but to experience the game in a different way from the
usual one.
As it so happens comparing a game like Chess to say Shades of Doom is
like comparing apples and oranges. There would be no fun or point in
cheating at Chess unless someone was absolutely determined to win the
game without putting the effort into it. However, with Shades of Doom
I can imagine several cases where cheating would offer a number of
motives above and beyond merely winning.

Perhaps someone gets stuck on a certain area or level and wants to see
the next one. Using a cheat code to get passed a difficult area of the
game to get to the next level seems to me to be an acceptable use of a
cheat since it allows him/her to move on without getting stuck.

Another possible good use for a cheat is that certain enemies such as
the blobs are often hard to get passed on certain difficulty settings.
All one has to do is load his/her weapon with unlimited ammo and blow
the blob away and then turn the cheat off. Yes, someone is cheating
but they are doing so judiciously.

The point here you are thinking very black and white about this issue
looking at this as a what if situation where you enter a Chess
competition with cheating on your mind where as I doubt most people
who use cheat codes think of using them in that way. I'd say most
would use cheats to get passed a difficult level or difficult enemy
and only use them in certain types of games and circumstances. Not in
every case is winning the objective or ultimate goal. For most having
a good time or just having fun is paramount.

There's a difference between "testing for bugs" and "learning fun things".
In the former case, you make yourself invincible so you can test weapons
without having to restart the game. In the latter, you get to figure out
just how high your health can go before it goes back around to the
negatives, and the game goes crazy (bonus points if you get it on tape!).
Again - for a perfect example of what I'm talking about, see the recording

Re: [Audyssey] any cheets for the game blood shed?

2015-09-08 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi John,

Exactly. Sometimes cheat codes lets you have fun without offering a
lot of unnecessary restrictions.

For example, if anyone remembers the game Jedi Knight from the early
to mid 90's it was a case in point. In order to get and use Jedi
powers you had to complete certain quests, certain levels, and after
each one you could add stars to a selection of Force powers such as:
Force jump, push, pull, lightning, etc. There were of course cheat
codes that would give you every Force power and max them out so you
could essentially start the game as a full fledged Jedi master rather
than a Jedi apprentice. While it made the game easier to play it
allowed you to make different choices and to do things that just
weren't possible without the cheats. It was fun and rewarding in a
different way.

Cheers!

Hi.

I just got an email from this individual, apparently they were using an
old version of the script, and have since fixed it.

Re: [Audyssey] any cheats for the game blood shed?

2015-09-08 Thread john
To others though, being ridiculously overpowered is just a good way to spend
a few minutes of free time.
This was never a question about personal opinions, its simply a yes or no
answer, which happens to be no in this particular situation.
Just because you don't personally believe in the use of cheat codes doesn't
mean that others don't have the right to find them enjoyable.

To me, the challenge is the fun. Being able to win by cheating is boring.

2015-09-08 Thread rajmund

Hi,
I always found xyzzy pretty funny in the old text games. Or was
it xyzzy? LOL, I haven't played them for ages. While I don't
tend to use cheat codes, I like to know them. LOL, I do use
walkthroughs, never the less.

Whatever flips their switch, I suppose. But even the word "cheat" should be
a clue.

bloodshed? and how do you avoid killing yourself with the mines. Should you
go to one side till you can't move than fire than go to the other side or

NOt onlyy that but not everbody wants cheats so they can beat the ame
easily. Some, myself included, would want to find them just to see what they
can do and, in a few moments of ree time, just have a little fun doing
things you couldn't normally do.
