They can be quite long and in some cases quite brutal. I've managed to get

They aren't ebooks they're gamebooks. Follow the links to make choices (use 
the html version),  write your stats and items down yourself, and hen it 
tells you to pick a number from the action chart use one a dice program to 
roll a d10.
