I ended up figuring out some of it. Eva seems to work under 32-bit
Windows 10 with NVDA and does show up under the Control Panel speech
settings dialogue, even if she won't show up under the main speech
settings dialogue, even under 64-bit.
It's really odd. I suppose it's because she's really a One
I don't have frotz readily available - again, check out audiogames.net.
There are a number of interpreters that you can get directly from their review
pages.

Hmmm, Frotz, as in the dos program I don't know about.
Win frotz as I recall just uses a standard dialogue, plus you should be able
to set windows to associate all zcode files with it so all you need to to is
just find the file in win explorer and hit enter.
I believe Filfre does the same
Yeah i don't like frotz because the dialog that it uses to open files is kind
of hard to navigate
