I think you can do what you wish with this classic game; I expect to
see it on as many platforms as possible, since it is one of the best
games in existence.

It is; it's supposed to be kind of a mind puzzle, where you need to
make sure you have all the required items to be in certain areas..

As far as I know, there hasn't really been anyone remaking Jim's
games, but agarchive.net has a page with the old games in the
Developers section.

Does anybody have a complete copy of that Dark Room game, one of the
first more explicit games? Someone on the Audiogames forum had the
Java shell of the game but not the sound files, and all the old links
to the game are broken now. Can anyone help?

Does anybody have a copy of the Dark Room game, one of the early
adult-content games to come onto the scene?

It wasn't that either; you're thinking of the In The Dark game that
was designed for a contest, but since the creator didn't win the
contest, it didn't get finished. The Dark Room Sex Game is a rhythm
game with no plot, just a rhythmic pattern, and it can be multiplayer.

I would like a copy of the Dark Room game please; I believe it was one
of the first games to be on the more adult-themed side before Jim
Kitchen really went there.

I put a support ticket into Draconis about this a long time ago, but
they never answered, possibly because they don't talk about
unsupported games on their support line, for obvious reasons. But I am
making a mod of ESP Whoop Ass. One day, I looked at the material I had
gathered during my visit to
