Hello! To all those of you who alpha tested Infected MUD, I am
grateful. I'm now putting the MUD back up again for a while to iron
out the last few bugs and get the last systems working again. I've
recently finished the health and body part code, but haven't done much
testing on it so it is in dire need of bug fixing.
I have also set up a forum for players to discuss things on; it is
likely this will become our more permanent website for people to turn
to rather than the boards in-game (as I wipe them from time to time
when changing code around).
I have also added several other things since the last time around,
such as support for blind players who use screen readers, with
toggleable simpler menus and screens (WHO and SCORE in particular) and
a number of bug fixes.
Please bear in mind that I'm working 9 hours a day, 6 days a week
lately so I will not be around for the whole day to answer questions.
If you have not heard of Infected MUD before it is a modern-day
survival-horror game, based on your standard post-society zombie
apocalypse genre. Guns, makeshift weapons, vehicles, drugs, and so
forth are all common. You can also play as an infected zombie, if you
die while infected from a zombie bite.
Help files are not fully created yet, so try things out for yourself
for now or ask someone.
