 Hey,
I've also emailed for a copy. Sounds interesting. Never played chess in my
life, so hope it works out for me.
It was Harry Potter that got me interested in the idea of chess. Yeah, I
 know that's weird *grin*.
 Regards,
 Damien.

I hope I get the game from him soon to check it out. I don't play Chess
often but always like to see how well accessible games are implemented. I
expect he'll get flooded with emails this time around. Chess is pretty
popular. In layman's terms, what is a rating of 2300 like?

 From my inbox.

I was a tester for this game, and it is totally blind friendly, with
 some
features that beginners will appreciate. Here are the ratings of the
 skill
 levels:

 Beginner: 600
 Novice: 1000
 Intermediate: 1400
 Advanced: 1900
 Expert: 2300

Give it a try and see what you think? The game is free of charge.

 Hi,
You are receiving this email because you have previously requested a
 game
from Spoonbill Software's Blind Gamers series. If you do not want to
receive notification of new games, reply to this email and ask to be
 removed from my notification list.

You can read all about the new game by visiting the blind gamers page
 at:

 www.spoonbillsoftware.com.au/blindgamers.htm

BG Chess Challenge runs in three different modes: Blind accessible,
 Vision
impaired and Sighted, so it is suitable for all levels of visual
 acuity.
It is also suitable for beginners as well as experienced chess players.
 A
separate Word document explains how to play chess, if you have never
played before or need to brush up on the rules and you can set the
computer player's skill level anywhere between Novice and Expert, so
 that
you can be ensured of a challenging game regardless of your own skill
level. In blind mode, graphics are still provided so that sighted
 spouses
can play along with their blind partners. As with all Spoonbill
 Software's
accessible games, it is completely self voicing. You will only need
 your
screen reader to read the on-line help, or the separate How To Play
 Chess
 document.

BG Chess Challenge is the fourteenth game in the Blind Gamers series of
accessible games and is free for the asking. Just reply to this email
requesting BG Chess Challenge and stating your full name and country of
residence. Only people who have kept me up to date with their latest
 email
address will be able to be notified of new games. Why not send for a
 copy
today, even if you've never played before, and take up the chess
 challenge?

 Regards
