Re: [Audyssey] Important for anyone interested in, or having trouble installing Audio Quake or Jedi Quake
Actually it's not. Locate the mod.cfg file in ID1 and open it in a text editor. You'll see the line: startdemos demo1 demo2 demo3 Add // to the beginning of it so that it then looks like: // startdemos demo1 demo2 demo3 this will stop the demos from running. Save the file after backing up the original and the game should start silently. Have a nice day!… Smiles, Cara :) On Feb 23, 2008, at 5:47 AM, Trouble wrote: Did that and the demo is in the executable file itself. In the console, type the word 'pause' without the quotes. this will stop the demo. Typing 'quit' again, without the quotes, will quit the game and get you back to the launcher. Typing 'start' will start the game. Typing 'tut' will start the tutorials. Typing 'DM' will start a deathmatch. Each of the above commands should also be followed by a press of the 'enter' key. These commands should be covered in the manual. I personally didn't write the manual, but I did read it and will also go and have a look again to make sure they are there. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
