Re: [Audyssey] Microsoft flight simulator 2002 help
Hi Geremy, The game they are discussing is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. Unfortunately, since the release of Flight Simulator 2004 and Flight Simulator X for Vista finding a legal copy of FS 2002 is a pain to find. You might try Ebay.com. I amanaged to get a copy from my Step Dad who owned a copy of FS 2002, and gave it away when he upgraded to a newer version. In order to use FS 2002 with Jaws or Window Eyes you need to buy a third party program called FS Navigator which makes some of the flight features accessible. It is not a cheap investment and unfortunately I can't play FS 2002 right now since it isn't compatible with Win Vista which I am running on my old and new laptop computers. I tried fs 2k2 for a bit. However I have had to delete it, because my 2.4ghz 512mb ram system just can't handle it right. Is that so? I've ran it on a 1.1 GHZ AMD athlon machine with 512 mb ram. It didn't scream, perhaps, but it got the job done (and I love that system, I sware by athlons). [Audyssey] Microsoft flight simulator 2002 help
Hello everyone, I am kind of new at sending messages to people, but I hope to do better in the future. I do have a question it is about Microsoft flight simulator 2002. I have heard from the internet, and by Scott Shades podcasts that you can perform a simulated flight using FS Navigator along with using some additional add ons.Mr. Shade has taught me alot on what to do , but he has not completely shown how to move the aircraft while on the ground, and the takeoff thru the landing phase. If you have any suggestions or experience that you will share I would be greatly appreciated. I know that some blind people might think that it is a waste of time learning how to fly a plane, but I used to be a pilot in my former sighted life, and if anyone trying this needs any help just ask, after all those of us without sight have to band together for what we want. I think that it is a shame that more pc games are not accessible to the blind gamer. Well thanks for letting me bend your ear for a minute or two. Take care all and have a nice day. Re: [Audyssey] Microsoft flight simulator 2002 help
Hi Bow, Here's what you've got to do. 1. Make sure your Fly FP box is checked. 2. Make sure your ap box is checked. 3. Check your alt, and I think it's heading. Yes. 4. Check your IAS (indicated airspead). 5. Your plane will start powering up and you'll hear your engines cycling, speeding up. 6. Hit the control and period I think it is. It's been a while sense I've done it. 7. Off you go. Just don't turn off autopilot unless you want to ahve a nifty little crash. Tootles. Re: [Audyssey] Microsoft flight simulator 2002 help
The game is microsoft flight simulator. It's actually a mainstream game. You've got to use FSnavigator to make it accessible. The website for the add on is www.fsnavigator.com I don't know where you can get FS 2k2. Ebay or simmarket.com is a good starting place.
