you may want to consider an alernative client. I believe mush client works under windows vista, but I have no knowledge of that. Don't use monkeyterm. I had the same problems and someone else I know have the same problems. I have made scripts or sound pack using vip mud. And if you use the jaws cursor, it's been saying invalid username and password before you type anything in--at least that is what it did for me and that was after I entered the connection manually because clicking on the session didn't do anything. any muds can have sounds. it's all abou tmaking triggers for each individual thing. I'm honestly not sure why it would be telling you invalid user name as soon as you connect.
