can only use for so long before they start charging you extra.

One thing which i recommend is perhaps using wma instead of ogg. Trust
me, it actually hurts to say that because ogg is by far the better
encoder IMHO, but at least with wma, it's compatible with most mp3
players and still sounds better than mp3.

My only gripe about wma is although its semi good even in licenced
files you will hear this digital signal like you are hearing the
sound from within a can.
I must admit some of the highquality wmas do not sound like that but
most wma files sound like that.
