Not true. There is a help page with text directions. Look up Haunting in
Durnsig. Admittedly there is one small section where you're supposed to go
three West but the directions say three East. I suspec, however, that it's
just a case of the writer hitting E by mistake instead of W since they are
right next to one another. It also helps that you can only go west at that
point so you can't really screw it up.

Subject: [Audyssey] Sryth Pumpkin Patch maze
Hello everyone,
Last night, I decided to renew my Adventurers Guild Membership to Sryth, and
decided to start from where my previous character left off. Apparently I
gave up at the Pumpkin Patch maze, with dense vegetation, because I’m trying
to complete that now.
Is it a matter of following each passage until it ends? Sometimes I get 116
east, five south from the top corner, and obviously the closer you get to
the top corner you’re going backwards.
How do I know I’m going in the right direction though? I unfortunately have
to start it over because there’s no save points in there, but that’s to be
expected. It appears that with the event with the townsfolk cheering you on
to go in there, I can’t seem to back out either.
What’s the best way to complete this maze? From what I remember, there was
no help page for it on the Wiki so I’m on my own. I’m positive I was doing
it right though, just seems to be repetitive with Pumpkin Creatures and
vegetation to fight.
