Gating will help you complete it easier, but is not necessary to complete it if you don't have it. You will be given a stone by the munks to close the gate, and basicly if you figure out how it works you can close and seal the gate. The hardest part about that adventure is the swarms of monsters that come out of the gate before you can close it. I'd take a good sword in there with some good mr as well as stamina points and you can complete the mission with no problem. I think the ruby bracelet is in the quest for the monks in trithic. The one where you have to close some kind of gate allowing evil demons and creatures into the world. The statuette and the war drum have no use in the game. As for the key, which incidentally is copper not brass, it opens a stone chest in the gobblin chieftain's room. Never had that happen before. All you should have to do is unequip your shield and you should be able to use your ax. I personally don't use two-handed weapons much for that very reason. I like the extra melee rating. The only two-handed weapon I use, and i haven't used it much lately, is the Wither Blade found in A Dilemma in Kirnwell. You might not be able to acess that one yet depending on whether or not you've completed Secret of Stoneback Hill. If you have, Thane Pyrond will take you on. He only has two quests, A Poaching in North Scarp and Dilemma in Kirnwell, but the latter offers both a much better EXP reward and the Wither Blade, which has a special attack that can doo close to a hundred damage to your foe. Yes. There are rings that increase your melee substantially. Also, if you're using a one-handed weapon, use a shield as well. Your melee will increase. You have to equip the weapon in the Items menu, just as you would any other weapon. As to where you get Adventurer Tokens, they're only available either from Proving Grounds contests, one of which just ended recently, from the occasional Adventurer's Guild rewards the GM gives from time to time, or from the Little Matter about an Orb quest in Hawklor, which can be accessed after completing the Caves of Westwold. You'll meet a guy on your way into the Stoneback Tavern who'll offer you an advance paymet of Adventurer Tokens for your services. Then if you click Adventures for this Location, there'll be a new adventure. But I wouldn't attempt that one until you have a fairly high melee rating, in the sixties at least. The enemies, which all seem to be insects of one kind or another, can be quite tough. And don't try the Giants adventures until you're fairly srong either. All you need to do to use the weapon is equip it. Click the equip link above the weapon's name, and you'll be good to go. Hi I too play Sryth, and even though I've presently got 20 Adventurer tokens I'm not sure if I should invest in a weapon or better armour. The last adventure I completed was the cold winter night in Trithak. Not sure where I should go next. Any suggestions from anyone about what to do with my tokens? I suggest you get yourself a shield. You can get a pretty decent one for 20 tokens. Or, if you're set on getting a weapon, get the runed short sword. It's decent, and it has a special attack. Hi Everyone, I bought an axe with my adventure tokens. the game then told that I had to stop using my shield. at first I tried dropping my shield. that didn't work, then I bought a new shield and tried unequipping it that also didn't work.
