Hello Thomas, The subject of other readers of course came up
immediately. The programmer H.G. Muller, ever up for a challenge, dove
into the issues and made progress. He is a very busy guy this is for
sure and even though the Winboard for JAWS source sort of fell, well it
did fall into our laps, he saw the day when further reader support would
be required. I have already re-introduced the subject with him as other
post by me about the update have had a very similar feedback. JAWS must
have lost some market in these last two years to the other readers. H.G.
Muller is Head Admin at the Winboard forum and as long as he is not out
of town supporting his latest engine in a tourn, his response is always
instantaneous to questions and suggestions in the Development section.
As I say I will keep talking to him about the Hal and Window Eyes, etc.
readers. We had a discussion about SAPI support once and something made
it prohibitive for Winboard through no fault of Winboard, I forgot. I
would not minimize your very own input in this regard in detailed and
painfully technical posts at the Winboard forum. Please register at the
