Hi Nicol,
The ghosts and poltergeist can fly so being on your broom is no defense
against them.
Other creatures do not fly and you should be able to go over them with no
trouble.
Peeves is a poltergeist which is a spirit that has the ability to pick up
objects.

Not necessarily. Same with dragons. In some books and games dragons are goo,
at least some are, while others are evil. But Peeves is the same way in
Sarah as he was in the books. He'd throw garbage cans at you or peltyou with
chalk. That's just the way they are. Heck, maybe some Poltergeists just
behave differently than others.

poltergeists are fictional creatures and can be anything the writer wants

Hi Nicol,

Poltergeists are widely regarded to be fictional creatures, and can be anything
the author developer wants them to be. For example in the Poltergeist movies
1-4 the poltergeists were evil demonic creatures trying to kill Carol Anne. In
the Ghost Busters movies they were also dark and evil ghosts. In the Harry
Potter books they are not really evil or harmful just mischievous. In some
books and movies they are harmless.
